01 / INTRODUCTION
I’m Elijah Scripter, a graphic designer based in Metro Detroit and a born-and-raised Yooper. I earned my BFA in Graphic Design from Northern Michigan University in 2021. My work sits where brand identity, packaging, retail marketing, and production meet.
Today, I’m the sole in-house creative at Common Citizen, supporting eleven retail locations and multiple house brands. I design across digital, print, packaging, environmental, ecommerce, and promotional channels, carrying projects from the initial need through compliance, production, and rollout.
Before Common Citizen, I designed for Pure Roots and Forte Cannabis, Northern Michigan University, and freelance clients across retail, hospitality, arts, publishing, and entertainment. That range made me comfortable moving between identity-level thinking and the small production decisions that determine whether the work actually functions.
Outside design, I’m into photography, games, D&D, disc golf, and American traditional tattooing.
